PopCD is a specialized tool that allows you to open and close your CD-ROM drive using your computer's mouse. Functionality Due to limited space on my desk, my PC was placed on the floor beside the desk, making it inconvenient to access the CD-ROM drive. Thus, I developed this tool. Additionally, considering the common issue of forgetting discs inside the drive after shutting down the computer, I added a feature that automatically ejects the CD when Windows is closed. Source Code The source code not only demonstrates the operation of the CD-ROM drive but also showcases the implementation of dynamic menus and tray applications.

How to Use PopCD

Download and install PopCD on your computer.

Run the application and a small icon will appear in the system tray.

Right-click the icon to open the menu, where you can choose to open or close the CD-ROM drive.

To enable the auto-eject feature, go to the settings and select the "Eject CD on Shutdown" option.
